Jonathan trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, with Antonio Fava in Commedia dell’Arte and with John Yorke in storytelling. Recent theatre credits include: Romeo and Juliet (USA Tour), Twelfth Night (Theatre on Kew), Petal (Omnibus Theatre), Dogsitting (Conflicted Theatre), Nicholas Nickleby (Bristol Old Vic) Tales from Hans Christian Anderson (Guildford Shakespeare Company). Recent TV/Film credits include: The Power (Amazon Prime), Board Games (Stern Productions) and David French (Dovetail Films). Voiceover credits include: Hanna (Amazon Prime), White Lines (Netflix) and Endeavour (ITV).
He spent 4 years performing with The Improverts, Edinburgh Fringe’s longest running improv troupe and regularly performs with Criminally Untrue: An improvised true crime documentary.

Jonathan gigs on the UK circuit performing character comedy, storytelling stand up and clown. He was Runner Up in the Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off! Competition 2024.
He's performed at places like ACMS (Alternative Comedy Memorial Society), Cabaret Impedimenta, Fool's Moon, Angel Comedy, Electric Arcade, The Miller, Soho Theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East and others. Online, he's written and performed in sketches for Pulped and with Daddy's SuperYacht.

Jonathan performs storytelling both at gigs and full length shows. He's created two solo live storytelling shows; One Way Mirror (2023) and I Just Want Someone To Know I Was Here (2019).
His storytelling work focusses on creating work that sits between fact and fiction, improvised and scripted, funny and sad. It interrogates elements of the human condition through a playful, joyful lense.
I Just Want Someone To Know I Was Here (2019) was winner of the John Thaw Initiative.
One Way Mirror (2023) was created thanks to Theatre Royal Stratford East, Pleasance Theatre, Interactive Soup and Elevate East.
